In this reading, we learn a few techniques when taking photographs. One main point the passage teaches is having symmetry in ones photographs. Having symmetry in the photograph makes it easy on the viewers eye. The symmetry does not have to be mathematically correct. Another point the passage makes is about repetition. Repetition in photography is meant to attract attention. When one repeats something in a photograph it automatically draws ones eye. Repetition in a photograph brings conformity, accord, and harmony. Framing is another point the passage makes. Framing is meant to direct the viewers eyes to the photographs center of interest while also keeping the viewers eye from escaping within the images boarders.
